Keeping in view the less proportion of number of schools against the growing population of New Mumbai,Mumbai branch was proposed to open a branch there.

President of P.V.G’s Past student Association, Dr. Kinjavadekar pursued the matter and was successful in his task and CIDCO gave away the land of 6686 29 sq.m. for the school & sports ground.

The school functioned from June 2001 with 300 students.Initially, Mrs Pushpa Subramaniam, the retired headmistress of primary section(Mumbai branch) contributed greatly in establishing the school and thus served the institution devotedly for more than three decades.
